Alto CLassic as well as Jazz mouthpieces (6, 6*, 7, 7*) are available in Heaven material.
What is the difference between the Heaven mouthpieces and the black ones?
Our heaven mouthpieces are made from a specialized acrylic compound with metal particles embedded in the material. Combined with the metal ring at the bottom, they have a quicker, easier response, a fuller sound, and more of an edge.
The black mouthpieces tend to sound a little more mellow. Which one is “better” really comes down to personal preference and the music the player prefers.
What is the difference between Jazz and Classic Saxophone Mouthpieces?
The Jazz mouthpieces have a baffle, while the Classic mouthpieces do not. This gives them the extra edge and more jazzy sound.
Our research with different materials lead us to a colorful acrylic compound with glittering matallic components imbedded in the lucent matierial. The resulting mouthpieces soon became popular among musicians of all ages and styles, due to not only their interesting visual qualities, but also their excellent sound characteristics.
This development found its culmination in Heaven, our transparent light blue material with metallic components, which references not only the materials trademark color, but also its „heavenly“ sound.
Compared to the traditional black designs, Heaven mouthpieces are easier to play, have plenty of volume and a very fluid tone with an impressively quick response.
Out of or variety of saxophone mouthpieces, the following are available as Heaven:
